Lisa’s Girls is 501c3 that mobilizes skills, resources and tools to enhance the agency of BIPOC women and girls in reshaping what leadership looks like, creating intergenerational change towards empowering, culturally diverse spaces.
The Vision
Lisa’s Girls is a navigating tool for individual and group success in cultural, social and professional development that empowers beyond personal, societal and structural factors which negatively impact girls and women of color's leadership identity and development at disproportionate rates to their male and white counterparts.With girls and women of color making up more than 50% of the U.S. population, it is imperative to cultivate experiences and provide a tool that shifts the lens of leadership to one that is intersectional and culturally inclusive.We seek to fill this gap by providing credible resources and training that empower positive factors that drive both leadership cultivation and opportunities for girls and women of color.Our life-skills leadership community that is designed to be a teaching tool that trains in leadership, emotional agility, mentorship and cultural adaptability.
